I haven’t been blogging that much anymore, sorry scrap that; I have not been on Blogger for almost 3months.
Maybe because work, studies and New York keep occupying my mind. And no I am not in New York.
I wish I was though.
My friend asked me this morning If I’ve got a dream? I mean really, what a dumb question is that? Everybody has dreams don’t they?
I told her my dream, and saying it out load actually made me feel like it is a bit farfetched????
I want to be a Art Director in New York City!
The requirements to enter the US are a bit strict though. But I am reading through all the documentation, and who know maybe before I am 30, my dream might have come true…
Since I was a little girl, you always disappointed me, guess I should be used to it by now... But you know what, Im not, I always try and see the good in you, always trying to be Daddies little girl… I forgave you when you forget my 16th Birthday and only a week after you said happy 15th, I forgave you for not having a healthy relationship that will actually last more then a few years, without you cheating on them, and making me get used to an idée of a new step mom…
I know I stepped out of line when I said that I hated you, and that I refused to speak to you for more then 8months… and I am sorry about that.
Yesterday I thought you changed, you even remembered my birthday, I was so excited that you said you will come past today and say Happy Birthday… From 15:00 I was waiting and now you only tell me you won’t make it because you are busy, after 21 years, don’t you think that you can make time for your daughter just this once???

Pretty Please???
I never have a issue on what to wear on a night out, but the last few days I keep on feeling like a plain jane, my hair is dead, my make just never wants to look hot anymore, and my clothes feel outdated… So I went shopping for the perfect outfit for my Bday party tomorrow night, just now I have no idée what to do with my hair and make up, My top is turquoise with white in, and I am wearing Black Skinny Jeans with Black Rocker type ankle boots and its got one hell of a heel, Freaking cute ankle boots…
So now I have no idée what to do with my hair??? Should I tie it up, let it hang loose? Straighten it, Curl it???
Then my make up, Smokey eyes or Natural Make up???
Oi, its difficult being a girl.
I really want to make a impression…

So today (yesterday) is the day that I am finally legal and all grown up... Yay...
My Birthday Celebrations started last weekend already, ANd we are stil going strong... :)

THE DRINK....
Crafty Maestro
Ingredients:
• 1 red bell pepper ring 1/2 " thick
• 8-10 mint leaves
• 2 oz Maestro Dobel Tequila
• 3/4 oz lime juice
• 3/4 oz simple syrup
Preparation:
1. In a pint glass [or mixing glass or cocktail shaker base], muddle the bell pepper ring and mint.
2. Add all spirits and mixers.
3. Shake vigorously for 6 seconds.
4. Strain into a cocktail glass.
5. To garnish, drop a bell pepper ring in the glass and add a mint sprig.
Gummi Bear Margarita
How fun is this? Take one of your favorite drinks, add some fruitiness and then add one of your favorite candies to munch on while you drink. Obviously, the Gummi Bear Margarita includes Gummi Bears, which are mixed within the ice, but it also features a fantastic flavored tequila, Voodoo Tiki Blue Dragon, a blue raspberry and kiwi infused tequila. Because Gummi Bears don’t look as good blended or just laying around, this particular Margarita is best served on the rocks with the bears mixed up with the ice.
Ingredients:
• 1 1/2 oz Voodoo Tiki Blue Dragon Tequila
• 1 oz Watermelon Pucker
• 1/2 oz triple sec
• 1 oz sour mix
• 1 oz cranberry juice
• dash of grenadine
• sugar for rimming
• Gummi Bears for garnish
Preparation:
1. Rim a chilled margarita glass with sugar, fill with ice and Gummi Bears.
2. Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice.
3. Shake well.
4. Strain into the prepared glass.
ENJOY... :)
I have come to the realization that human beings are a bunch of vain, shallow snobs…
A while ago I had two Facebook pages, Well I only started of with one, but one was for my modeling and the other my private life, where my personal friends were on, on that’s what I thought they were.
I had a msg everyday from people, invites to go to parties and events, I felt like I was on top of the world, I was even a FTV Ambassador…
1 Year later, I am about 9kgs heavier, though you cant see it, just I know because I cant fit into a 32 anymore, 34 is starting to sit too tight… I don’t get invited to Events and Parties anymore, and I feel like I don’t have as many friends as I use to have…
Why is that I wonder???
Is it the fact that I don’t look good in little mini cocktail dresses anymore?? Or that I don’t hang out with models and celebrities anymore?? Which by the way, they are not that interesting as you think in any case…
Or am I just a mean person that people don’t like??? I mean, I don’t think ive changed that much in the last year, Have I???
So now I am sitting at work puzzled by why I feel so alone???
You cant stay young forever, but you can be immature for the rest of your life...
Think I might be strting to go through my Quarter life Crisis. :)

Gonna do some playing with my camera tonight, I am in the mood to start doing Shoots again... Who knows maybe on Saturday; for now, I am just gonna have to be happy with self portraits.
When I was at school, I was always the one that wanted to please everyone, and keep everyone happy, at school it might have made you a lot of friends, but in the real world, life doesn’t work that way.
I found that out the hard way, I am so used to doing what I thought other people would like and accept me for; that I never for one moment though of what I really want???
I was so used to doing what other people thought best that I did not know how to identify what I wanted to do. The responses I usually get is that either “The market is flooded”, or “Oh, where have I heard that before”, and my personal favorite, “Lets talk in a months time; you will have changed your mind by then.” You know what, that is the reason I change my mind the whole time, because I don’t want the shitty office position or that “respectable” sales position, the normal 9 – 5 just does not work for me!!
So heres the thing, I will study further, and NO I am not going to study sales or accounting, I will study Graphic Design and Advertising, and keep my job for another year, don’t think I will die of working here, might get locked up for murdering some one though. Then I will make a success of my self!!! I will be the best damn advertiser and Designer you have ever seen ;). Then after a few years of wreaking havoc on earth with my weird ideas, hee hee, I will open my coffee shop!!! My “New York” coffee shop…
I will stop worrying about peoples opinions of me! This is me, and I am happy they way I am!!!
You know why I am going to do all this???

Today marks 100days to the World Cup Kick off.
Its time to see how much still needs to be done; and how much has been done???
Today the star newspaper is revealing the 100 things that still need to be done.
There are things like the disaster management centre, fixing the traffic lights and planting grass at some stadiums.
Then the biggest of the all is the Mbombela Stadium is Nelspruit that will only be finished a few weeks before the kick of, which cuts it a bit close. The Road to the Royal Bafokeng Stadium is also not complete nor is the Gautrain, though it is said that it will be ready.
For the Fans though it means only a 100 Days to go for kick off!!!
The only problem for the fans is the lack of enthusiasm for the World Cup or our National team, Bafana Bafana
This past weekend has been fun; Jody bought me "The Llewellyn Tarot deck" FINALLY!!!! I have been throwing hints that I want them for a while now. :) Now, just need to learn how to read them.
Mondays aren't always so bad! Ive had a pretty mellow one today, which is actually nice once in a while.
This morning I woke up with a bit of a cold, and by the looks of it, I think I passed it on to Jody… Ooops
Anyways, that’s pretty much the only interesting things that I can think of writing today…
While I was catching up on everything happening on the internets this morning, I happen to get a friend request on 20 Something bloggers from Nathanael Rey, I decided to read his blog and see what hes about.
The very first post on his blog is about a gay Malawi-en couple, as some of you know, not all countries are for gay relationships. The picture already broke my heart, without even reading the article I was already in tears.

No human being deserves to be judged and humiliated on the fact that you like some one of the same sex, at the end of the day, we are all human beings, even though I don’t believe in a higher power, I believe that you should answer to whatever deity you believe in, and not to people who judge you.

Get with the plan, or Shut your mouth!!!
I am so sick hearing people talk about the World Cup, if it was positive comments and remarks they were making, I wouldn’t be so irritated, but its negativity from start to end.
One thing Ive got to say to those PESSIMESTS,
THE WORLD CUP IS ON ITS WAY!!! GET WITH THE PROGRAM,
My gran always told me, "If you don’t have something good to say, then don’t say anything at all".
All this negative media South Africa is getting is driving me insane, I mean we have a really amazing country…
We might have a President with 5 wives and 20 children, silver lining to that problem, We will have our own Zuma soccer team.
Then the electricity tariff hike of 24.8% for 2010, 25.8% for 2011 and 25.9% for 2012, Silver lining to that problem, we will start saving more electricity, which will be a plus for the environment. :)
Every problem has its silver lining, you might not see it straight away but it is there. Hiding in the cracks somewhere. Even with all the negative things going on in South Africa, there is that handful of people who will always be proudly South African, no matter what. Because they believe, the same as me, that our country is a diamond in the ruff.

Its funny how humans are never satisfied, last week I was complaining about the heat, today Im complaining because it looks like we might have some thunderstorms on the way. Which isn't a bad thing at all, just traffic is hectic when it rain, especially Jo'burg traffic. :(

Why is it that Mondays are always the bad days??
I think a Monday should go smoothly, I mean think about it, you had a whole weekend to relax and have fun; so when Monday arrives you should feel relaxed, yet for some people Mondays are the worst day of the week...
Ok I admit, I have my occasional blue Monday, and sometimes its a bit hectic, but a Monday flies by...
Fridays on the other hand are the worst.
I am happy that its a Friday - bring on the tequila - but its the most unproductive day of the week, you feel annoyed with you co-workers, lazy, tired, the list can go on, yet Every one loves a Friday...

AS you can imagine, there are allot of bad losers out there, for example the guy that wanted to start a fight with Kobus, just because he does not like the Stormers, I mean come on... But about 20min later Kobus and the Lions Supporter were big pals...
I don't think I will ever understand Men...
I decided I had enough and went home, Jody on the other hand only got home at about 2am...

Yay Valentines Day!!!
I'm not usually a big fan of Valentines, because I think its a money making scheme, but I just could not wait for Valentines day!!
At 5:30 we woke up, got dressed and left for Sun City...
Boy was I excited!! 
The weather actually played along, It was not that busy and it was fun!!!
I look like a tomato, but heck who cares...
We arrived there at about 9:00 and only left at 17:30.
I even went down the Temple of Courage, which is a 90º degree drop...
The only down side is that if you don't hold on to your bikini top you might end up flashing the whole resort...
Sooo...
The after math of the weekend, Im stiff, Tired, Red and a bit fluish!! But would not trade the fun I had this weekend for anything!!!
I barely made it through today...
I know, I know...
The title makes no sense at all. But that is a typical Friday for me. All the crap I get up to during the week usually catch up on a Friday...
This morning I decided I wanted to straighten my hair, but ended up straightening my arm. now for some freaky reason Ive got 3 straight lines on my arm. :( WTF???
Ive decided I want to be a Wedding / Event planner.
Its something I can really see myself doing. I love weddings, but don't want to be the one getting married. Don't think I will be a couples first choice if they want a Wedding planner, I mean a wedding planner that doesn't believe in marriage, that would go down extremely well with every one. lol
I believe you can be just as happy together forever without the whole marriage thing.
Anywho in just 2 days its Valentines day...
My Boyfriend is taking me to suncity for they day, so Im extremely excited!!!!
I really hope every one has a very romantic, fun day!!!
You DONT need to be in a relationship to celebrate V-DaY!!

This is my first time Im writing a blog, that Im actually going to publish. Im not a expert when it comes to writing about my personal life, but Ive got a pretty crazy imagination...
A little random fact, as you might have read, Im from South Africa, and today is a very historic day in South Africa. Today marks the 20 year Anniversary of Nelson Mandelas release from Jail. 
4 years later he becomes South Africas first Black president. Which for some meant the begining of the end, and for others the end of apartheid and the beginning of freedom...
What did that day mean to you??
